Rubicon Group Holding, a Amman-based developer of animated content, signed today an agreement with Paramount Recreation and CBS Consumer Products to build a $1 billion Star Trek-themed resort in Jordan, Rubicon Chief Executive Officer Randa Ayoubi said.
The 184-acre Star-Trek themed entertainment resort is due to be built by 2014 in the Red Sea port city of Aqaba in southern Jordan, she said in an interview in Amman.
The master plan will be drawn up by the Seattle-based architecture and design company Callison, she said on the sidelines of a conference in Amman to encourage Jordanian-U.S. business partnerships.CONTINUE READING >>
